What's Happening

LMNT has officially introduced a new Lemonade Iced Tea flavor as part of its electrolyte drink mix lineup, marking another expansion into caffeinated hydration products.

The new flavor combines lemonade and iced tea-inspired notes while delivering 50mg of caffeine per serving. The caffeine addition positions the product between traditional hydration formulas and lighter functional energy products.

Like the rest of the LMNT lineup, the formula is built around a high-electrolyte profile containing 1,000mg of sodium, 200mg of potassium, and 60mg of magnesium per stick pack. The product contains zero sugar and is designed to support hydration without relying on traditional sports drink formulations.

The Lemonade Iced Tea flavor joins LMNT’s broader portfolio of drink mixes, which already includes citrus, fruit, and seasonal flavor profiles. The addition of caffeine gives the brand another option aimed at consumers looking for both hydration and a mild energy boost in a single product.

The product is available through LMNT’s direct-to-consumer channels and retail partners carrying the brand.

Why It Matters

Hydration brands are increasingly incorporating functional energy into electrolyte products as consumers look for alternatives to traditional energy drinks and sugary beverages.

By using a lower caffeine dose alongside electrolytes, LMNT is targeting consumers who want a more moderate energy option without sacrificing hydration support.

Bigger Picture

The hydration category continues to evolve beyond basic electrolyte replacement, with brands blending energy, focus, and performance ingredients into hybrid products.

Tea-inspired flavors and lower-stimulant formulations are also becoming more common as companies expand into broader daily-use occasions outside of intense training environments.
