What’s Happening
Jocko Fuel has launched a Horchata flavor for its Jocko Mölk Protein Powder, positioning it as a limited batch release available through its direct-to-consumer website.
The product maintains the same core formula as the rest of the Jocko Mölk line. Each serving provides 22 grams of protein and 1 to 2 grams of sugar. The protein blend includes whey protein, micellar casein, and egg protein, and the formula also contains digestive enzymes and probiotics. The product does not use artificial sweeteners, instead relying on monk fruit extract, allulose, and Reb-M.
The Horchata flavor is built around a creamy base with cinnamon and vanilla notes, inspired by the traditional drink. It joins an existing lineup that includes more standard options such as Chocolate Peanut Butter, Chocolate Milkshake, Vanilla Milkshake, and Cookies & Cream.
On the commercial side, Jocko Fuel’s product page lists the Horchata tub at $49.99. At the time captured from the page, the item was marked sold out, suggesting either a fast initial response or a temporary inventory gap shortly after launch.
Why It Matters
Flavor is one of the easiest ways for protein powder brands to generate attention without changing a formula, but Horchata stands out because it is still relatively uncommon compared to the category’s usual dessert and milkshake staples. For Jocko Fuel, this gives Jocko Mölk a more seasonal, conversation-driving option while preserving the formula points the brand emphasizes most: multi-source protein, digestive support, and a no-artificial-sweetener position.
It also reinforces how premium protein brands are continuing to chase novelty through familiar comfort flavors with a twist. Instead of simply dropping another chocolate variant, Jocko is using a culturally recognizable flavor profile that feels differentiated without moving too far outside the mainstream protein-powder audience. That is a smart way to keep a legacy SKU fresh while staying within the brand’s established clean-label messaging.
Bigger Picture
Limited-batch flavor launches are becoming a consistent strategy across the supplement industry. They allow brands to refresh existing SKUs, generate attention, and experiment with more creative flavor concepts while keeping production risk relatively low.
