GymNation has launched what it calls the world’s first protein shisha bar, describing it as a tobacco-free, nicotine-free vapor concept designed for a gym setting. Health Club Management says the concept will sit alongside the chain’s broader wellness offerings as a place for members to socialize, recover, and recharge after training.

The launch includes flavor concepts such as The Whey Cloud, Macro Mist, and BCAA Breeze, all built on herbal vapor bases and food-grade aroma profiles inspired by sports nutrition. GymNation claims that each 45-minute session can deliver up to 25g of “aroma-activated protein” and cites a 43% boost in post-training social engagement, alongside recovery-oriented claims.
Why It Matters
The obvious headline is the novelty, but the more interesting part is what GymNation is really selling: a fitness-first social environment. This is less about replacing shakes or meals and more about creating a branded post-workout ritual that keeps members in the club longer.
It also reflects a broader push by gyms to become more than places to train. Recovery, socializing, and branded wellness experiences are increasingly part of the business model, especially in markets where differentiation matters. Whether the protein-shisha concept catches on is a separate question, but it is very clearly designed to turn attention into foot traffic.
