What’s Happening
Gorilla Mind and YoungLA have released Young LAtte, a ready-to-drink canned latte made with cold brew and real milk. The formula includes 140mg of caffeine, down from the original 200mg concept, and keeps a lighter version of Gorilla Mind’s energy-and-focus stack. Instagram posts tied to the release also describe the product as coming in an 11-ounce can with 25 calories.
This collab was first shown at the Arnold Expo, where it appeared to be a limited way to try the drink before the broader launch came together.
Why It Matters
This launch is interesting because it sits right between categories. It is not a standard canned coffee, and it is not a conventional energy drink either. That gives both brands a product that feels more lifestyle-native while still carrying some functional credibility.
It is also a good example of audience overlap done right. Gorilla Mind brings supplement credibility and formulation interest, while YoungLA brings apparel-driven lifestyle cachet. A coffee-style collab makes sense for both without feeling forced.
