What’s Happening

Good Protein has introduced Clear Protein + Electrolytes, a new plant-based drink mix designed to combine protein and hydration in a lighter, juice-like alternative to traditional creamy protein shakes.

The new line launches in three flavors: Pink Lemonade, Peach Rings, and Watermelon Candy, leaning heavily into refreshing and candy-inspired profiles rather than the dessert flavors typically associated with protein powders.

Each serving delivers 10g of complete plant-based protein, including all nine essential amino acids, alongside 520mg of electrolytes and 0g of sugar. The electrolyte blend includes sodium, potassium, magnesium, and calcium, while the formula also provides a source of Vitamin C.

Good Protein uses hydrolyzed yellow pea protein, which is broken down into smaller components to create a lighter, water-soluble protein that mixes into a clear, juice-like drink instead of a thick shake.

The product comes in individual stick packs, with each serving designed to mix into 500mL of cold water. It is also vegan, gluten-free, GMO-free, made in Canada, and contains no added sugar.

The three-flavor launch is an online exclusive and gives Good Protein a completely different format alongside its existing All-in-One Shakes, higher-protein shakes, bottled protein drinks, and functional wellness products.

Why It Matters

Clear protein has become an increasingly important alternative for consumers who want more protein but don't always want another creamy shake.

Good Protein is taking that concept a step further by combining 10g of complete protein with a full electrolyte blend, allowing one stick pack to serve both hydration and protein needs.

The plant-based formulation is also notable. Many clear protein products rely on whey protein isolate, while Good Protein is using hydrolyzed yellow pea protein to create a vegan option with all nine essential amino acids.

Launching with Pink Lemonade, Peach Rings, and Watermelon Candy also gives the line a distinctly beverage-first identity. Instead of making the product feel like a lighter protein shake, Good Protein is positioning it closer to a refreshing hydration drink that happens to contain meaningful protein.

Bigger Picture

The lines between protein, hydration, and functional beverages continue to blur as consumers look for products that can serve multiple purposes at once.

Good Protein's Clear Protein + Electrolytes line reflects that shift, combining plant-based protein, electrolytes, zero sugar, and portable stick packs into a format designed for workouts, recovery, travel, and everyday hydration.
