What's Happening

Ghost is officially entering the powdered energy category with the launch of Ghost Energy Stick Packs, scheduled to release on June 1.

The new product is designed as a portable alternative to the brand’s ready-to-drink Ghost Energy cans, using a powdered stick-pack format that can be mixed with water. Each packet delivers 200mg of caffeine, matching the caffeine level found in the canned version of Ghost Energy.

The launch includes four flavors: Swedish Fish, Sonic Cherry Limeade, Sour Patch Kids Redberry, and Orange Squeeze. The lineup heavily leans into the brand’s established strategy of using recognizable licensed collaborations and candy-inspired flavors.

The formula is expected to carry over several of the core functional ingredients associated with Ghost Energy, including nootropic and focus-support components that have become central to the product line’s positioning.

The stick packs are intended to give consumers a more travel-friendly and convenient energy option compared to traditional cans, while also expanding the brand into a new product category beyond ready-to-drink beverages.

Pricing and broader retail rollout details have not yet been fully disclosed ahead of launch.

Why It Matters

This marks a major category expansion for Ghost, taking one of its most successful product lines and adapting it into a more portable format.

Energy powders and stick packs have become increasingly popular because they offer convenience, lower shipping costs, and easier daily use compared to canned beverages.

Bigger Picture

The energy category is continuing to diversify beyond traditional cans, with more brands launching powders, packets, and concentrates aimed at portability and convenience.

Brands with strong flavor equity and recognizable collaborations are particularly well-positioned to expand into these adjacent formats without needing to rebuild consumer familiarity.
