What’s Happening
Chee Hoo has launched a new Protein Pops line, starting with Pineapple Breeze and planning to roll out Mana Chocolate and Island Coffee in the coming weeks. The company says the line is available for direct shipping across the continental U.S., with a phased rollout into grocery and convenience stores across Hawaii and the continental U.S. during the first half of 2026.
The macro story is clear here. Chee Hoo says each pop contains 12g of whey protein, no added sugar, and lands at about 100 calories for Pineapple Breeze and 110 calories for Mana Chocolate and Island Coffee. The launch is built around simple ingredients like banana, coconut, fruit, cocoa, and coffee, depending on flavor.
Why It Matters
Protein innovation has spent years clustering around bars and shakes. Frozen products are still much less crowded, which gives Chee Hoo a more open lane, especially as warmer-weather demand picks up. This also gives protein a more indulgent format without abandoning utility.
The bigger opportunity is positioning. Chee Hoo is not trying to look like a hardcore supplement company. It is trying to make protein feel fun, seasonal, and easier to fit into everyday snacking. That can pull in consumers who may not want another chalky RTD or dense protein bar.
