These cottage cheese pancakes are *chefs kiss*
If you love eating healthy but hate having to give up your favorite desserts, you’ve come to the right place.
This recipe from Olivia Jarvis, a fitness coach and creator of healthy whole-food recipes, is perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth without ruining your macros.
“These cottage cheese pancakes are one of my all-time favorite recipes,” Jarvis says. “They’re perfect as a post-workout breakfast or snack, and super easy to make – plus they have 26g of protein and 305 calories!”
So without further ado, let’s jump into the recipe:
Add all the ingredients together and blend. “Add the cottage cheese in first so the oats don’t get stuck,” Jarvis recommends.
Heat a pan over medium heat and coat it with a low-calorie cooking spray (like this one) or a little olive oil.
Once the pan is hot, bring the heat down to low and pour, or scoop the mixture into your desired pancake shape and size. Once golden brown on one side, flip the pancakes to evenly cook both sides.
Add your toppings of choice and enjoy! “I usually go for blueberries, melted chocolate, and peanut butter,” Jarvis says.
